Mr. Elijah Cineas, bass-baritone, is a singer, teacher, and arts administrator currently working throughout Southern California. Mr. Cineas is a graduate of the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at CSU Long Beach and a current member of the Chrisman Studio Artist program at Opera Santa Barbara. In 2023, he made debuts with Lyric Opera Orange County and Opera Santa Barbara in Romeo et Juliette and Light in the Piazza, respectively. In 2022, he was a Young Artist at the Alexandria Summer Nights Festival and Red River Lyric Opera. Mr. Cineas is also a former Opera Buffs grant recipient. He has also worked as an Education and Engagement Coordinator at Long Beach Opera, and teaches voice throughout Riverside and Orange County. Mr. Efraín Zúñiga is a music educator, singer/songwriter, and arts administrator in Southern California. Zúñiga is currently a student at the prestigious Bob Cole Conservatory of Music studying Choral-Music Education. Zúñiga is also a Long Beach Unified School District intern for Long Beach Polytechnic High School's ‘Introduction to Songwriting’ course.
Ms. Emilia Tamburri is a graduate of The Juilliard School (Masters of Music) and New England Conservatory (Bachelors of Music), Emilia’s ASCAP award-winning music has been performed worldwide, including at Lincoln Center, Bowdoin International Music Festival, Tanglewood Music Center, the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, New England Conservatory, Montclair State University, and Freie Universität in Berlin, Germany. She has arranged and composed music for orchestra, choir, and chamber groups, including The New World for One World Symphony, recognized as an “effective arrangement” by The New York Times. Emilia was supported by the Irene Diamond Fellowship to attend The Juilliard School, was the recipient of awards from New England Conservatory for String Quartet No. 2 and Symbiosis, and was commissioned by the Grace Church Choir, among others. Her primary teachers include Samuel Adler, Robert Beaser, Lee Hyla, and Robert Aldridge. Emilia teaches composition and orchestration in Los Angeles, CA. She is also a multi-instrumentalist, amateur athlete, and human rights activist.
Ms. Alexandra Aber is a creative, nurturing, and student-focused music teacher, with a background in performance, early childhood education, Reggio Emilia educational philosophy and arts education. She completed her Bachelor’s of Music in Vocal Performance, with additional coursework in Pedagogy at Lawrence University, as well additional coursework at UCLA. She is currently completing a credential program at the California State University Long Beach. Mr. David Brown is a multi-instrumentalist with a focus in Viola/Violin, originally from La Crescenta but currently residing in Long Beach. He is a Music Education major at California State University Long Beach and performs with the university's Symphony Orchestra. David is also an accomplished composer, being a part of the LA Philharmonic's Composer Fellowship Program for the 2021/2022 season, with pieces written for Symphony Orchestra, Clarinet Trio, and Oboe performed by professional musicians. Outside of music, David likes competing in Chess and Super Smash Bros Melee, as well as hiking in the surrounding Southern California mountains.
Mr. Kyle Brown is a Los Angeles Native and discovered his love for music while attending Junipero Serra High School in Gardena. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Classical Guitar and Tuba performance and Music Education at California Lutheran University. While attending CLU, he was a member of both the Wind Ensemble and Mariachi Band. He has experience in many instruments, including guitar, tuba, piano, drums, flute, clarinet, saxophone, violin, bass, voice and trumpet. Mr. Brown is passionate about providing students in his community with the building blocks for success: the skills, discipline, and work ethic it takes to develop talent.
Mrs. Yukiko Yamada Nobles received her B.A. in Music from California State University, Northridge in 1975 and M.A. in Music from California State University, Los Angeles in 1978. She holds a Clear California Teaching Credential in Music and has taught in private-schools full time and public schools as a substitute teacher. Teaching private lessons and group lessons since 1975, Mrs. Noblesstudents have participated in numerous evaluations, auditions and received many superior ratings. She has served as the State Vice President of Student Programs for many years for California Association of Professional Music Teachers and Co-President of Music Teachers’ Association of California Long Beach Branch. Currently, she serves as the Vice President of MTAC Long Beach Branch.
Mr. Brian Hernandez is currently completing his under grad work at Cal
State University of Long Beach majoring in music education. He plays the
alto saxophone and baritone saxophone as well as the clarinet and flute.
His skillset has opened the doors to playing at the Bob Cole Conservatory
of Music Wind Symphony, perform with a studio jazz band, CSULB concert band, LBSU pep band and the 2019 Tournament of the Roses Honor Band. Mr. Hernandez has also taught middle school and high school students the fundamentals of woodwind playing from how to hold the instrument to playing within an ensemble. He continues to add to his skillset the art of teaching music.
Ms. Maria Valenzuela is a Southern California based trumpet player and recent graduate of California State University, Long Beach. She primarily performs classical and mariachi music but is familiar with other genres of music. Maria has had the opportunity to perform at various venues, including the Hollywood Bowl as a member of the group Mariachi Nuejo Mujer 2000. In addition to performing, Maria teaches at multiple music academies and is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of musicians.
Mrs. Jude Bedel brings over 15 years of expertise and experience in the field of fundraising. Raising over $50 million over the course of her career, she is a passionate advocate for the vital role that funders and donors play in creating opportunities and improving lives.
